When I've been doing Lifting & Tightening consultations for a long time, I often encounter the fact that the perceived results vary from person to person, even when receiving treatment with the same equipment.

Alltite, Titanium, and Onda are technically similar Lifting & Tightening procedures.

In the actual examination room, the variables I look at first to determine the results are not the equipment name, but rather the timing of the procedure and customized design.

Take just one minute to read this.

Why do the results differ for the same Lifting & Tightening?

Some people talk about clear changes with just one procedure, while others are disappointed with less change than expected.

Rather than the equipment being the problem, it's often the case that the timing of the procedure and a design tailored to that skin were missing.

If you are repeating a procedure but not getting the desired results, it is faster to re-examine the timing and design before changing the equipment.

Of course, there is always room for improvement in any condition.

If you have received Lifting & Tightening elsewhere but have not felt the effects, it is not uncommon in the examination room to see a different direction just by realigning the two axes of timing and design.

In fact, why the duration differs for the same equipment is explained in more detail in Why Alltite Lifting & Tightening duration varies from person to person.

Why do we ask about the timing of the procedure first?

The first axis that affects the results is the starting point.

Among those who received the procedure in the early stages of aging, when sagging has not yet fully begun and elasticity is just starting to decline, some report relatively clear changes in skin texture and elasticity.

Conversely, if sagging and volume loss have already progressed significantly, it is possible that more time and sessions may be needed to achieve satisfactory changes.

Some people experience inconvenience during the recovery process, which is why timing is important.

When considering the timing, I generally check these points:

  • Is the decrease in elasticity just beginning, or has it already progressed to sagging?
  • Is the skin thickness and fat volume able to withstand heat energy?
  • Are there risk factors such as hollow cheeks or facial hollowing?

In particular, individuals with very thin skin or insufficient fat may be at risk of hollow cheeks, so this point is always addressed during pre-procedure consultations.

Related judgment criteria are summarized in the article How we view Alltite when concerned about hollow cheeks, so you may refer to it as well.

(※ The number of procedures and the degree of improvement vary depending on the individual's skin condition)

Alltite, Titanium, Onda, what's the difference?

The second axis is a design tailored to that skin.

The three procedures differ in the skin layers they act on and their methods, so even if started at the appropriate time, it can be difficult to achieve the desired results if the design is not right.

Here's a table summarizing the differences between the three:

ProcedureMain acting layerEnergy methodExpected outcome in the examination room
AlltiteDermis and SMAS fascia layerDLTD method radiofrequency (RF)Expected improvement in jawline and cheek sagging
TitaniumDermisRadiofrequency heat energyInduces skin elasticity and collagen regeneration
OndaFat layer and dermisMicrowaveElasticity changes and partial volume reduction

The SMAS fascia layer is a membrane tissue that covers the muscles deep within the skin, and it is the target of Alltite.

Titanium heats the dermis above it to induce regeneration, while Onda acts on both the fat layer and the dermis.

Different layers mean that if the concerns are different, the priorities also change.

Why Titanium is judged by depth rather than shot count is separately written in Titanium Lifting & Tightening explained in the examination room.

These three procedures can be used alone or in combination depending on the skin condition.

Which combination is right depends on skin thickness, fat volume, and the degree of sagging.

At O.N Clinic, these factors are measured with the AI skin analyzer Muse before suggesting a combination.

(※ The effects and reactions of all procedures may vary depending on the individual's condition, so the plan may be readjusted as needed after observing the progress of the procedure)

In consultation, we check in 'this order'

Lifting & Tightening is a procedure with significant individual differences.

While a well-designed plan does not guarantee the same results for everyone, a suitable design certainly increases the possibility of good results.

The sequence I follow in consultations is generally this:

  1. Objectively measure skin thickness, fat volume, and degree of sagging with Muse
  2. Categorize and prioritize concerns (sagging, elasticity, or volume)
  3. Select a single or combined design based on the layers
  4. Adjust the plan for subsequent sessions after observing the progress of the procedure

In particular, how to set the intensity design when entering your 40s is covered with case examples in Why we prioritize intensity in 40s elasticity procedures.

Reviewing your starting time and design, as well as the information about the procedure itself, affects the results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which procedure among Alltite, Titanium, and Onda is right for me?

The three differ in the layers they act on and their methods, so the appropriate choice varies depending on skin thickness, fat volume, and the degree of sagging.

Whether to use them alone or in combination also depends on your condition, so it is safer to decide after measurement and consultation.

When is the best time to start Lifting & Tightening?

If you are in the early stages where sagging has not yet fully begun and elasticity is just starting to decline, you may be relatively more likely to experience changes.

If sagging and volume loss have already progressed, it may take longer to see results, and there are significant individual differences.

Why did I not see results when I received it elsewhere?

It is possible that the starting time was not appropriate, or a design tailored to your skin was missing.

Objectively measuring thickness, fat volume, and sagging, and designing accordingly, often determines the results.

Can I still receive it if my skin is thin or I have little fat?

It is possible, but there may be risks such as hollow cheeks, so it must be addressed during consultation.

In such cases, the intensity and combination are designed more carefully.

How long do the effects last?

The duration varies greatly from person to person depending on skin condition, aging speed, and lifestyle.

It is helpful to adjust the plan after observing the progress of the procedure, so we recommend discussing the direction of post-procedure care during the consultation.

If you are considering Lifting & Tightening, the order is to first look at the timing and design before choosing the equipment.

You can easily ask about the direction suitable for your condition through Chat for consultation now.

Recovery and Downtime

Alltite, Titanium, and Onda are Lifting & Tightening procedures performed with heat energy without incision, so slight redness, tingling, mild fever, and slight swelling may appear in the treated area immediately after the procedure.

(※ These reactions usually subside within a few days, but there are individual differences depending on the intensity, treatment area, and skin condition)

Daily life is generally possible from the day of the procedure, but it is recommended to avoid excessive stimulation of the treated area, saunas, and strong massages for a few days.

If you are concerned about the recovery pattern, it is best to confirm it in advance during the consultation.

How the cost is structured

Lifting & Tightening costs are not set at a single fixed price but vary based on several factors.

These typically include skin thickness and fat volume confirmed by Muse measurement, the degree of sagging, whether Alltite, Titanium, or Onda is used alone or in combination, the scope and area of the procedure (e.g., entire face or partial), the session design, and whether post-procedure care is included.

Even with the same equipment, the cost structure changes if the design changes, so the exact cost will be provided after measurement and consultation.

Visit and Consultation Information

O.N Clinic is conveniently located within walking distance from Gangnam Station.

Since Lifting & Tightening is a procedure that requires considering both timing and design, if you inform us of your current concerns and desired direction in advance via Chat for consultation now before your visit, the consultation will be much smoother.

During the in-person consultation, we will measure with Muse and then review a design tailored to your condition.
