In consultations with people in their 30s, I often get asked, "What's popular these days?"
A popular treatment isn't necessarily the right treatment for you.
Skin concerns in your 30s broadly fall into three categories, each requiring a different approach.
Take just one minute to read this.
Three Types
| Type | Main Symptoms | Approach |
|---|---|---|
| Contour Type | Jawline blurs, double chin appears | Deep layer support structure |
| Texture & Fine Wrinkle Type | Rough skin texture, visible pores and fine wrinkles | Dermal elasticity and texture |
| Scar & Pore Type | Recurring acne, pitted marks remain | Localized regeneration and pigment |
These three types target different layers.
If you repeatedly apply only superficial treatments for the contour type, you may not feel a difference. If you only apply deep layer treatments for the texture type, you may not see much change in the mirror.

If you are the Contour Type
If your main concerns are your jawline and a double chin, the approach will be to address the deep layer support structure.
In your 30s, sagging has not progressed significantly, so the extent of change may not be dramatic, but it can help slow down the progression.
At this stage, rather than strong pulling, it may be more natural to narrow down the area and treat only the necessary parts.
(※ The effectiveness and response may vary depending on the individual's skin condition, and the suitability of the treatment is determined through consultation with medical staff.)

If you are the Texture & Fine Wrinkle Type
This is when your skin texture is rough, pores are noticeable, and fine wrinkles are visible around your eyes.
An approach that addresses both dermal elasticity and skin texture is suitable.
For this type, it may be more stable to build up results over multiple sessions rather than one strong treatment.
Since many people at this age have thin skin, intensity control is particularly important.

If you are the Scar & Pore Type
This is when acne recurs, leaving pitted marks and enlarged pores.
In this case, the approach focuses on the affected areas rather than treating the entire face uniformly.
And if active acne remains, addressing that first is the priority.
Applying regenerative treatments while inflammation is ongoing may leave more marks.
The classification of enlarged pore types was covered in Enlarged Pores Split into Three Causes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lifting & Tightening too early in your 30s?
While sagging has not progressed significantly, so the extent of change may not be dramatic, for the contour type, it can help slow down the progression.
What if I have a mix of types?
We prioritize the most prominent concern and then move on to others over subsequent sessions. Addressing all three at once may not be sufficient for any of them.
Can I get scar treatment if I still have acne?
Applying regenerative treatments while inflammation is ongoing may leave more marks. The priority is to address active acne first.
Can't I just get a popular treatment?
Popularity and suitability are different. Determining your type first will naturally narrow down your options.
What is the reaction after the treatment?
It varies depending on the method, but temporary redness, warmth, and swelling may occur. The degree and duration vary from person to person.
Recovery and Downtime: Varies by Type
For approaches targeting deep layers, you may experience soreness; for approaches targeting skin texture, redness and exfoliation; and for localized regeneration, scabs or marks may remain for a few days.
If you have a schedule, please let us know in advance during the consultation, and we will design the treatment to adjust the timing.
Changes generally appear over multiple sessions.
How is the cost structured?
The cost is not determined by the name of the treatment.
It varies depending on the type, the scope of treatment, the total number of sessions, and whether diagnosis and post-care are included.
For accurate pricing, it is best to provide guidance after a consultation to confirm your type.
